The product to be bagged is dosed by one or more weighers located on top of the carousel (weighers are generally 2). Once the dose is ready, the weigher which must discharge the product, waits for the permission from the operator.
It does not open the discharge flaps until the operator has put the bag under the bag spout (BS) and has given the permission to discharge by means of the microswitch located on the bag spout itself.
At this point, if there isn’t anomalies, the carousel rotates by one station, the discharge ring goes down and product is discharged into the bag.
The duration of the discharge is set according to the product to be handled and the bag size.
While the machine discharges, the operator can feed the bag spout with another empty bag.
Any time a bag is fed and the permission is given on the bag spout microswitch, the machine rotates by one position; in the stations following the bagging one, product is settled by following
vibrations.
At the end of the shaking operations, the bag is released on the closing belt conveyor. |
